Courses and conferences
We happily welcome large and small groups, but only one group at a time. Thanks to our good partners, the choices are numerous. We can adapt the menu according to a theme or to your wishes, and we will do our best to create an experience that will make an impression and moments that guests will remember with a smile. Courses and conferences are often combined with Wenche's open kitchen. Guests work together to prepare either lunch or dinner.
We can adapt the menu to specific themes. The dishes are based on the very best local produce, hand-picked from my own garden or from my fantastic local suppliers. Every ingredient has its own story, which is often served together with the food. It is often the sum of all the little details, such as the projector in the nesting box and the stories that accompany the food, that create these unique experiences.
At Hjemme hos Wenche the setting is key to the guests' experience. The surroundings and the premises set a mood which only serves to reinforce the overall impression. Wenche is keen to ensure that not just the flavours, but also the atmosphere and the sum of all those little details come together to create an experience that will stay in your mind for a long time to come. Spoil your senses. Let them get lost in the house and gardens and along the riverbank, where the summer sun does not set until late at night. As we are fully licensed, why not take a cold bottle of Nøgne Ø with you on your stroll?
The venue is as perfect for business events as it is for weddings, informal family parties or more light-hearted bashes with friends. Wenche offers hospitality and creates a beautiful framework for any occasion. She is happy to join you early on in the planning process, while her partners and contacts can assist with entertainment and other diversions. We welcome groups of 6–100 guests.
